The Royal Arsenal development is the centrepiece — a vast riverside complex with shops, restaurants, and modern flats. Woolwich Market is one of London's oldest and most characterful. The area still has rough edges, but rents are remarkably low given the Elizabeth line access. For new-build quality at budget prices, Woolwich is hard to beat.
